MacGruber Meets MacGyver

This past Saturday during SNL (and also during the Super Bowl) it finally happened, MacGruber met up with his namesake MacGyver for some serious comedy. However, it took me a moment to recognize that that was really Richard Dean Anderson. What happened to him? He looked way old and a bit overweight. I guess he's been out of the spotlight for a while, but should he look that different? He's always been super HOT and a definite mainstay on my top 5 list, but I have to admit that I was a bit upset. I just kept asking Beeps "what happened?", "I'm very upset" I told him. Wasn't he just on Stargate like 5 years ago looking smoking hot? I guess I'm in denial about my own age and inevitable mortality.

But I have to give him props for making fun of himself. It was some funny shiz. And no matter what happens to him, he'll still be my 80's TV obsession.

Smoochies just sent me this and I have no idea whether it's real or not. But I'd like to think so. I am totally going there. I wonder if you get some chewing gum, a bit of duct tape, and a secret map with each cut?

Mac Attack!

I just went to Comcast.net and saw the most amazing news. You can go to this site and watch ALL the MacGyver episodes you want! Anyone who has known me for any length of time knows that I heart Angus MacGyver - big time. Between 1985 and 1992 I was glued to the TV on Monday nights! I had a big poster of him in my room. I think I've seen every episode multiple times. I loved his insight, his resourcefulness, his houseboat, his clean livin', his love of hockey, his best friend Pete, his Jeep, and of course his mullet in all its shapes and sizes. Beeps even made me a long sleeve t-shirt with "MacGyver" on the front and the Phoenix Foundation's logo on the back.  Killer. I've even decided to endorse him for president. And you should too.
